S'mores without an open fire
Posted by Matthew A. Gonzalez
I know this is a simple recipe, but this one is more to raise awareness. I just want to remind people, that s’mores aren’t something reserved just for camping trips! You can make them at home too.
Ingredients
- Graham crackers
- Chocolate bar
- Marshmallows
Tools & cookware
- Microwave
Instructions
- Break the graham cracker in half.
- Break off a piece of the chocolate bar. Break that piece into smaller pieces so the chocolate will melt evenly (that’s a tip from Noel, the s’more queen) and place it on one of the graham cracker halves.
- Put a marshmallow on top of the chocolate pieces. Leave the other half of the graham cracker on the plate, but to the side.
- Microwave the s’more for ten-to-15 seconds on high. Watch to make sure the marshmallow doesn’t burn or fall off of the chocolate.
- Take the s’more out of the microwave and cover with the other half of the cracker and press down. Eat it immediately because the marshmallow won’t stay hot for long!
Well, what do you think?
